  • Can I make a donation to our local branch?

Here’s how you can support Canada’s Veterans and your local branch:

Donate during the Poppy campaign: During the Poppy campaign leading up to Remembrance Day, the Legion gratefully accepts donations at Legion tables and Poppy boxes across Canada. From businesses and organizations to retail outlets, restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, and the flower shop around the corner, the Poppy is distributed to wear with pride. Local organizations interested in requesting a collection box to support the Poppy Campaign should contact their local Legion Branch.

Donate at your local Legion Branch: We encourage Canadians to donate locally to your Legion Branch to support Veterans and Remembrance in your community.

Donate by volunteering your time: As a volunteer by offering whatever skills you feel may be beneficial to someone else, you have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on your community!

When it comes to volunteering time there is no doubt your contribution is much appreciated by the organizations in need that receive them, and by those that ultimately benefit.

In any case, a time donation always is:

  • For the social or common good;
  • Meet new people and make friends;
  • Feel accomplished by sharing your skills with others;
  • Building connections in our community;
  • An opportunity to learn new skills;
  • Build your work experience and enhance your resume;
  • And most importantly it is voluntary and free of charge!

The work you do will benefit others in need but can also create a meaningful experience for you as well.
